The Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Sovereignty and Independence – Museum of VMRO – Museum of the Victims of the Communist Regime is a national museum of the Republic of Macedonia located in the capital city of Skopje.

The Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia is a memorial to the holocaust of the 7,148 Jews from Macedonia and the history of the Jews in the Balkans, located in Skopje, the capital city of the Republic of Macedonia.

The new Archaeological Museum of Macedonia has opened in the capital Skopje. It has three floors and an area of 6000 sq m, and features more than 6000 artifacts from prehistory to the Middle Ages. Some of the exhibits presented to the public for the first time include a copy of Alexander the Great’s sarcophagus, and a reconstructed Roman chariot from the 2nd century. Fifteen wax figures are also on display, among them those of Alexander the Great and Phillip II.

The Contemporary Art Museum of Macedonia  is one of the largest and most complete national institution of the Republic of Macedonia. Located in the capital city of Skopje, the museum was founded in 1963 following the disastrous earthquake that hit the city. The building project was donated by the Polish Government.
